EDGOOSE, Ann (1778 or 1779-1807) late YATES born NICHELS or NICHOLS.
An Anne, daughter of James and Abigail NICHOLS, was baptised at Rippingale, Lincolnshire, on 29 December 1777. No evidence yet that this is the Ann NICKELS or NICHOLS who married John YATES at Skirbeck in 1799.
John YATES, a widower from Swineshead, Lincolnshire, married an Ann NICKELS [MB has NICHOLS] at Skirbeck, Lincolnshire, on 9 September 1799. She was described as a 23 year old Skirbeck spinster.

A John YATES was buried at Swineshead on 11 May 1805 at the age of 54.

James EDGOOSE, a 26 year old Gosberton bachelor and farmer, married Ann YATES, a widow from Swineshead, by licence at Gosberton, Lincolnshire, on 9 April 1806. She was 27 years old. Signed Robert DOUBLEDAY of Gosberton, brewer. At Gosberton 7 April 1806.
