Annie Faith BOAST was born on 11 February 1908 at Stowmarket, Suffolk.

The 1911 census of 19 Church Walk, Stowmarket, Suffolk:
Sydney [sic] BOAST, head, aged 28, married, worker in explosives co, born at Stradbrooke, Suffolk;
Julia BOAST, wife, aged 31, married 6 years, 3 children (all living), born at Little Bromley, Essex;
*Annie Faith BOAST, daughter, aged 3, born at Stowmarket, Suffolk;
Dorothy Kathleen BOAST, daughter, aged 2, born at Stowmarket, Suffolk;
Ethel Rose Muriel BOAST, daughter, aged 3 months, born at Stowmarket, Suffolk.

She married Robert James EDGOOSE (1900-1962) at Stowmarket Parish Church, Suffolk, on 31 August 1929. He was a 29 year bachelor, a fruit grower, of Lewis, West Walton, Norfolk, son of Robert James EDGOOSE, gardener. Annie BOAST was described as a 21 year old spinster, a domestic servant, of 19 Church Walk, West Walton, and daughter of Sidney BOAST, a labourer. Witnesses were Sidney BOAST and Frederick Jhom (sic) FENNER.

Her husband owned Lewes Cottages, West Walton, Norfolk, which his grandfather Robert EDGOOSE (1867-1907) had bought from Mr. John BONNEY on 24 June 1828. The cottages were thatched and they lived in the one at the end that was larger than the others.
From the 1939 Register of Lewes Cottages, Marshland R.D., Norfolk:
Robert J. EDGOOSE, born 29 June 1900, married, small holder

In 1943 they moved to a house called Rosedene in Walton Highway, Norfolk.
Their only child, [LIVING], was born on 7 June 1945.
On 18 January 1956 Lewes Cottages were sold to Margaret Nellie MASON.
They built a new bungalow, Roanje, St. Paul's Road, Walton Highway, in 1962 but, only seven months after moving in, Robert James died of a stroke on 11 December 1962.
In 1969 she moved from Woodfield, 6 Ipswich Road, Stowmarket, to 7 Kent Road, Stowmarket.
In an undated letter circa 1968 she wrote to Michael James EDGOOSE to report that she had "heard Ron EDGOOSE (1911-1981) talking on the wireless about his aerial. He is the late coalman's son who used to live in Walton Highway. They always said they are not related to our family."
She died on 28 July 1997 at St. Leonards Court, Mundford, Norfolk. She was described as the Widow of Robert James EDGOOSE Fruitgrower. Cause of Death was Old Age and Senile Dementia.
