  THOMAS EARL WINEKOFF 1944-2000 Thomas Earl WINEKOFF was born at Wayne, Wayne County, Michigan, USA, on 15 August 1944. He married Ruth Annie JOHNSON, daughter of Walter JOHNSON (1906-1987) and his wife Emma Ida Louise EDGOOSE (1919-1961) on 12 June 1965. After a marriage lasting more than 30 years they decided to get a divorce. Within months of starting the process, Thomas WINEKOFF was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumour, the worst possible. He was treated for two years and at one point was told he was cured, but the cancer returned with a vengeance. During those two years he married Marie E. CROSTHWAITE at Clarke County, Nevada, USA, on 19 January 1999. (www.ancestry.com: Nevada Marriage Index 1956-2005) He died at Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan, USA , on 27 April 2000 aged 55.
