      WILL OF GEORGE BANKS (LCC Will 1809/12)
      "This is the last Will and Testament of me GEORGE BANKS of the Parish of Barholm in the County of Lincoln Farmer
      First I Give unto my Youngest Daughter ELIZABETH BANKS the sum of One Thousand Pounds to be paid her by my Executor hereinafter named within Three months next after my decease and all the Furniture in the Best Chamber over the Parlour and the yellow Bed Six Tea Boards the Tera Cadsie Castors all the China and Tea Spoons and Table Spoons
      I give unto my Eldest Daughter MARY BLAND the Wife of Clement Bland of the Frith Farm in the Parish of Little Casterton in the County of Rutland Farmer the sum of seven hundred Pounds to be paid to her by my said Executor within three months next after my decease and six pair of sheets and one of the Beds in the Parlour
      I Give unto my Eldest Son GEORGE BANKS of Braceborough in the said County of Lincoln the sum of Eight hundred Pounds to be paid by my said Executor within three months next after my decease
      And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my money and Securities for Money Goods Chattels Cattle Farming Utensils Effects and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I Give and bequeath the same unto my Youngest Son THOMAS BANKS to and for his Absolute use and Disposal (subject nevertheless to the Payment of my just Debts Legacies Funeral and Testamentary Expences)
      And I do nominate and Appoint my said Son THOMAS BANKS sole Executor of this my said Will hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me made
      In Witness whereof I the said GEORGE BANKS the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this fourth day June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Nine.
