He emigrated to Australia in 1927 to meet up with his 2 brothers Thomas and James who came to Australia prior to World War 1. All had large families that have now spread around Western Australia. My mother was born in London Colney (where her father worked as a butcher at Napsbury Hospital) and along with a brother and 2 sisters are still going strong here in Perth.
