This is not inconsistent with a birth at the very end of December 1894 and is just about consistent with an age of 7 months given in the ship's manifest of the Teutonic on 31 July 1895. (GRO March Q 1895 Middlesborough 9d 602) The ship Teutonic arrived at New York from Liverpool on 31 July 1895.
