Robert Rowley MILBOURNE, a bachelor of full age living at Holly Terrace, Wyndham Road, and son of Robert MILBOURNE, a carver and gilder, married Amelia WESTERN, a spinster of full age living at George Street, Wyndham Road, and daughter of Robert WESTERN, a seaman, at the Emanuel Church, Camberwell, Surrey, on 25 February 1851. Witnesses were Thomas Humphrey HALL..? and Eliza Preston.

Lambeth occupying premises "Golden Axe", Milton Street in the City of London, and carrying on the Business of a Victualler do hereby apply to be admitted to ththe Freedom of the City of London, by redemption, in pursuance of the Resolution of the Court of Common Council of 17th, March 1835, and 13th, July 1848 and I hereby declare that I am not an Alien, nor the son of an Alien, and that I am above the age of Twenty-one years.

Eliza Sophia Amelia, daughter of Robert Rowley and Amelia MILBOURNE of Milton Street, publican, was baptised at St. Giles without Cripplegate in the City of London on 13 October 1852. There is a note in the register's margin that she was born on 23 September 1852.
