"...about your CLAYDONS of Fincham. I have just had a look at your web site in general and the section on the CLAYDONs in particular.
I believe I may have found a link to my CLAYDONS. You have a Richard CLAYDON b. before 1790 married to Susan KING. You are unsure of their birth locations but have indicated Fincham. You also have them as having one daughter Susan b. before 5 December 1822.
I have a Richard CLAYDON, Labourer, of Swaffham, Nfk, married to Susan KING. My Richard was born on Dec 27, 1789 in Swaffham. My Richard and Susan had (at least) four children, Robert bapt Jan 17, 1813, William b. Apr 17, 1815 bapt May 14, 1815, another William b. Sep 8, 1816, bap Sep 22, 1816, and Susan Martha b. Mar 1819, bapt Mar 21, 1819. Whether there were other children is unknown to me. It's possible there may have been a second Susan born later. My Richard CLAYDON is one of (at least) 8 children, Elizabeth, Ellen, William, Jane, John, Richard, Elizabeth, and Robert, born to Richard CLAYDON and Elizabeth JOLLY of Swaffham. Richard and Elizabeth were married Dec 1, 1777 in Swaffham.
The coincidence of proximate dates, locations and names is reasonably suggestive that further investigation to confirm the linkage is appropriate."
