"Hilary 1530 Norfolk Thomas GUYBON esquire, otherwise called Thomas GUYBON of Lynbusshop esquire, otherwise called Thomas GUYBONS senior esquire, appeared by his attorney for a fourth day against Henry STOWARD late of Walsoken in the county aforesaid husbondman, in a plea that he render him £6 10s; and against Henry BALDYNG late of Teryngton in the county aforesaid husbondman, in a plea that he render him £4 9s; and against John THAKER late of Owaplode in the county Lincoln bocher and against William ETGOSE late of Owaplode in county Lincoln bocher, in a plea that each of them render him 63s 8d, which tey owe him and unjustly detain &c.; and (the defendants) have not come; and it had been ordered the sheriff to take them &c.; and the sheriff now reports that they are not found &c.; therefore, as before, let them be taken, to be here three weeks from Easter &c."
