THOMAS HENRY ROSCORLA 1870-
According to his grandson Kenneth Haward Walker Thomas Henry ROSCORLA was born at Helston, Cornwall, on 9 October 1870. He is said to have had nine siblings.
At the time of the 1891 census he was a boarder with the GEORGE family at 12 Thorn Terrace, Liskeard, Cornwall:
Thomas H. ROSCORLA, boarder, single, aged 20, hairdresser, neither employed nor unemployed, born at Helston, Cornwall.

Thomas Henry ROSCORDA (sic) married Ethel Gazelle Lamarchent WICKS at St.Mary's, Truro, Cornwall, on 24 October 1895.

Charles ROSCORLA, son, aged 1, born in Lambeth, London.

Their daughter Irene was staying with her grandparents.
In 1909 a Thomas ROSCORLA had an agreement with the Great Western Railway Company to sell fruit on Helston station.

At the time of the 1911 census his eleven year old son Charles appears to have been in the Dr. Barnado's Home Norwood Branch at 145 Portland Road, South Norwood. Neither his date of birth nor his place of birth was known.
