  WADE, Albert (1859-1884) He was born at 33 Hatchett Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, on 4 July 1859. He was described as the son of William, journeyman shoemaker, and Jemima WADE formerly EDGOOSE. (GRO September 1859 Birmingham 6d 149). The 1871 census of 17 Kent Street, Leicester St. Mary: Jemima WADE, head, aged 50, widow, staymaker, born in Leicestershire (sic); William WADE, son, aged 13, grocer, born in Leicestershire; *Albert WADE, son, aged 11, scholar, born in Leicestershire; Emerly WADE, daughter, aged 10, scholar, born in Leicestershire; George WADE, son, aged 8, born in Leicestershire. (RG10/3284/44/2) The 1881 census of 17 Kent Street, Leicester St. Mary: Jemima WADE, head, aged 58, seamstress, born at Gosberton, Lincolnshire; *Albert WADE, son, aged 21, unmarried, shoe rivetter (trade), born in Birmingham; Emily WADE, daughter, aged 30 (20 mistranscribed?), renoler shoe trade, born in Birmingham; George WADE, son, aged 18, shoe clicker, born in Leicester.
