At the time of the 1891 census he was living at 58 Calvert Road, Greenwich, Kent, with his wife Louisa and son James V. HUDSON. Townshend HUDSON was 21, a 'C Collector', born West Walton, Norfolk. Louisa, aged 20, was born in Greenwich; so, too, was their 4 month old son JAMES.
James Vessey, son of Townshend Vessey and Louisa HUDSON of 45 Calvert Street, East Greenwich, was baptised at Christ Church, Greenwich, on 23 September 1891.
Townshend HUDSON was described as a schoolmaster.
Elsie Gertrude Elizabeth HUDSON, daughter of Townshend Vessey and Louisa HUDSON of 24 Pryor Street, was baptised at East Greenwich on 3 August 1892.
