      From a letter Jemima WADE nee EDGOOSE, daughter of James EDGOOSE and Mary nee WINFREE wrote to her sister Elizabeth O'Connor from Leicester in 1895:
      ........I want my dear Emma Now but it cannot be I know She
      is Better off so I must leave it And Wait Patiently I must tell you Mrs
      GEE has never been near us she is often in Leicester but shes never
      been to see us before her husband died At xmas she used to give me 5s.
      and three yard of flannel but since I have had this little Money she

      goes flurting About I don't think she will get one very soon Because

      NOTES & QUERIES:
      George FLETCHER, the 15 year old son of Harry GEE's employer in 1851 is probably the 35 year old George FLETCHER whom Emma GEE is visting in 1871.
      A George FLETCHER married Betsy Ellen NAYLOR in 1863 (GRO Holbeach 7a 740 December Q 1863).
      Without a marriage certificate there is no proof that George is the son of William FLETCHER, draper.
