      The indications that William ROWLEY was a son of Thomas ROWLEY are as follows:
      1) Both William and Thomas were saddlers' ironmongers.

      2) Agnes Rowley EDGOOSE, daughter of the Jesse EDGOOSE who married Thomas ROWLEY's daughter Eliza, was described as the cousin of Marrianne (sic) MILBOURNE, widow, in the 1871 census return for Bexley, Kent.

      3) Marianne Milbourne ROWLEY, a spinster of full age of 4 Tereza Terrace, Hammersmith, London, and daughter of William ROWLEY, a saddlers' ironmonger, married James MILBOURNE in the Parish of St. Clement Danes, Middlesex, on 25 February 1845. James MILBOURNE junior was a bachelor of full age of 195 Strand, London, a carver and guilder, and son of James MILBOURNE, a carver and guilder. Witnesses were Maria MILBOURNE and Thomas MILBORNE.
