  EDGOOSE, John (Circa 1560 - After 1567) Johnne EDGOOSE was the son of the Robert EDGOOSE who was the nephew of Johnne EDGOOSE of Kirton, carpenter: 'Item I geve Robert EDGOOSE my nevie my colt stagge' and 'Item I geve Johnne EDGOOSE his sonne a yowe and iiis iiiid'. Robert EDGOOSE had married Joan PETER at Whaplode in 1560 and Annes PYNGBEK there in 1562. (LCC Wills 1567/241) If he was still alive in 1567 he cannot be the John EDGOOSE who was buried at Whaplode on 20 April 1562. An Index of the Will of Johnne EDGOSE or EDGOOSE (bef. 1522-1567) of Kirton-in-Holland, Lincolnshire, made on 26 January 1566/67.
