  ASAPH KING 1811-1877 Asaph, son of Eldred Moore Ogle KING and Alice his wife, was baptised at Benington, Lincolnshire, on 31 March 1811. (www.FamilySearch.org) Sarah NEWTON, daughter of labourer William MYLAND, married Asaph KING at Long Sutton Parish Church in Lincolnshire on 20 August 1837. She was described as a 35 year old widow from Long Sutton. She made her mark. Asaph KING was a 26 year old bachelor, a Long Sutton gardener, and son of William KING, a weaver. Witnesses were Edward NEWTON and Mary MOULTON.
