      "In the Name of God Amen I James HOLBORN of Terrington St. Clements in the County of Norfolk, Bricklayer, being of sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I desire to be decently Interred at the discretion of my Executor herein after named and that my Debts and Funeral Expences (sic) may be paid as soon as conveniently after my decease
      I give in Trust to Willm JOHNSON of Tilney all-saints Carpenter, to be sold within one Year after my Decease for the benefit of my Creditors, all that Piece of Land Lying in the parish of Tilbury all saints, Containing as per Estimation, one Acre two Roods, with the Crop if there be any thereon
      I Give and bequeath to my Son John HOLBORN the sum of Two Pounds two shillings to be paid by my Executor within one Year after my Decease
      I also give unto my beloved wife Elizabeth HOLBORN all that Messuage with one Rood of Land as per Estimation wherein I now live situate Lying and being in Church field in Terrington St. Clements, Also I Give unto my said Wife all those 4 Tenements a Blacksmith's Shop with with one Rood of Land adjoining as per Estimation Situate lying or (sic) being in Perkin field in Terrington aforesaid To hold to her and her Assigns for and during her natural life, Also I Will and direct that my said Wife shall be permitted to have the use of all my furniture plate Linnen, and China, for and during her natural Life, and that an Inventory and Account shall be taken of the same by my Executor and from and after the Decease of my Wife I give Upon further Trust all my furniture Plate, Linnen and China, to be sold, or otherwise to so many of my Daughters as shall be living to have share and share alike equally Divided between them, and after the Decease of my said Wife I give unto mo my Son Thomas HOLBORN All that Messuage with the yards of Garden per Estimation one Rood be the same more or less, situate standing or being in Church field in Terrington aforesaid to him his heirs and Assigns for ever, And upon further Trust a after the Decease of my said Wife I give all those 4 Tenements a Blacksmiths Shop and one Rood of Land more or less thereto belonging and Occupied to be sold and given as followeth first to my Daughter Mary HOLBORN ten Pounds and secondly to my daughter Rose HOLBORN ten Pounds and also to pay the Mortgage of Sixty Pounds which this Estate is Incumber'd with then to Divide the remainder of the Money equally between my four Daughters share and share alike Namely- Mary HOLBORN, Elizabeth NAILOR, Ann MEYHEW (sic), and Rose HOLBORN But if any of my four Daughters aforesaid should die before the Decease of my said Wife, or before the Sale of the said Tenements then her or their share or shares shall be divided amongst the surrviviving Sisters share and share alike I also direct that the Interest shall be pay'd Quarterly or otherwise as directed by the Mortgage and all other Taxes and Rents at the acustomed time out of the Rents Arising from the said Estate and as to alall the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Estate and Effects of what nature or Kind soever and wheresoever I give devise and bequeath the same unto my said Wife her heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever and I do hereby constitute and appoint William JOHNSON Carpenter of Tilney aforesaid to be my sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and Annulling all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and my Will is and I do hereby direct that my said Trustee do and may Retain all the Costs, Charges, and Expences (sic)
      which he may sustain in and about the Execution of this my Will out of the Estate and Effects hereby in him respectively Invested
