The EDGOOSE/HUGGINS connection:
1) In 1903, William Henry HUGGINS, sister of Ada Mary HUGGINS, married Patience EDGOOSE MOULES, daughter of the Mary EDGOOSE who had married Joseph MOULES at West Walton in 1871.
2) Ada Mary HUGGINS married William Frederick EDGOOSE, illegitimate son of Mary's sister Ruth EDGOOSE, two years later.
3) The only close point of contact between the HUGGINS and EDGOOSE familes appears to have been the village of Nettleham in Lincolnshire where Ada Mary and William Henry HUGGINS were born and where William Frederick EDGOOSE was boarded out - at least in 1881. Whether a possible friendship formed before 1881 when they were just eight years old endured into adulthood is not proven.
