ELIZABETH TOLLER, formerly PILKINTON, née BANKS 1808-1873
Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth BANKS, was baptised at Barholm, Lincolnshire, on 24 April 1808.
William PILKINTON of Market Deeping married Elizabeth BANKS, a minor of this parish at Barholm, Lincolnshire, by licence on 22 December 1828. Witnesses were Elizabeth PILKINGTON and George BANKS, his sister and her brother according to their great great grandson.

In 1828-1829 Jonathan and William PILKINTON had a business in Market Place, Market Deeping, Lincolnshire. They were grocers, drapers and tallow chandlers. In 1842 the business appeared to belong to Thomas and Elizabeth PILKINTON, and it is possible that a William TOLLER may have obtained an interest by about 1843 when Elizabeth PILKINTON became Elizabeth TOLLER.

The 1841 census of Market Deeping, Lincolnshire, lists Elizabeth PILKINTON, aged 30, draper; Louisa PILKINTON, aged 8; Selina PILKINTON, aged 6; Francis PILKINTON, aged 4; and William PILKINTON, aged 2. All had been born in the county.

Her husband William TOLLER died in 1850.

In fact she died at 90 Albert Street, Regents Park, which was the residence of her daughter Louisa Elizabeth MACKLAND. Her own address was 3 Winchester Terrace, Northumberland Park, Tottenham.
