  MARY LIGHTFOOT 1797- Mary, daughter of Richard LIGHTFOOT, tailor, and his wife Mary, was baptised at Stamford St. George, Lincolnshire, on 19 February 1797. (PR) Richard LIGHTFOOT had married Mary EDGOSS at Stamford St. George, Lincolnshire, on 26 March 1782. A Mary LIGHTFOOT witnessed the marriage between Elizabeth LIGHTFOOT, widow, and Samuel LIGHTFOOT, bachelor, at Stamford St. Michael, Lincolnshire, on 20 March 1820. Mary LIGHTFOOT was probably Elizabeth's sister-in-law, from her marriage to Arthur Richard LIGHTFOOT (1792-1814) in 1814. (FreeReg) NOTES: 1) An earlier Mary LIGHTFOOT was buried at Stamford St. George, Lincolnshire, in March 1795. (LFHS) 2) A Mary LIGHTFOOT married William COOPER at Edenham, Lincolnshire, in 1824.
