      Thomas Barnard WHARRAM was born at Naburn, Yorkshire, in 1873.

      He was baptised at Naburn on 19 March 1873.

      At the time of the 1891 census Maria WHARRAM was living a Providence House, Naburn. She was described as a 42 year old widow, 'living on own means', born Escrick. Also present were her son Matthias WHARRAM, a 22 year old farmer, born Naburn; heeer son Thomas B. WHARRAM, an 18 year old chemist's apprentice, born Naburn; Adelaide E. EDGOOSE, described as a cousin, apparently only 36 years old (although born in 1851!), 'living on own means', born Northallerton; and a cook, a housemaid, and four farm servants.

      According to the 1901 census index he was a 28 year old Naburn chemist.

      He died without marrying.
