Lydia ABNEY was born at Stony Creek, Fisherburg [sic], Madison County, Indiana, USA, on 10 April 1910. She was illegitimate, "father unknown".
Her mother was Nancy (Nannie) A. ABNEY, age last birthday 19 years, who was born in Indiana on 22 June 1891 and who died in De Kalb County, Illinois, on 16 January 1973.

NORMAL -- L. LaGreta PULLIAM, aged 94, of 901 N. Main Street., Normal, died at 9:43 p.m. Tuesday (May 25, 2004) at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services are being held. Burial will take place at a later date in Blue Eye, Mo. East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
LaGreta was born April 28, 1910, in Fishersburg [sic], Ind., a daughter of Andrew and Nancy ABNEY [of] Montgomery. They preceded her in death.
She first married Leonard ANDERSON in 1929. He died October of 1979. She then married Clovis Bodi PULLIAM. He died October of 1989.
Surviving is one daughter, Clara Mae (Wally) EDGOOSE, Monee; two sons, Charles ANDERSON, Monee, and George (Becky) ANDERSON,Bloomington; one brother Ronald SMITH, DeKalb; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and four great great gchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and one grandaughter.
LaGreta was a member of Malta United Methodist Church.
She was active in 4-H Home Extension and a professional seamstress."
