William WADE and Jemima EDGOOSE were married on 17 December 1855 at St. Stephen's, Birmingham. William WADE was the 27 year old shoemaker son of George WADE, carpenter. They gave their addresses as Summer Lane, Birmingham. Witnesses were Stephen WADE and Ann JACOBS. Jemima gave her age as 30.
It is not known whether there was any relationship between William WADE and William Francis WADE M.D. (later Sir Willoughby) of Summer Lane, resident physician to the Birmingham General Hospital. (Willoughby Francis WADE, William WADE, and George WADE were not listed in the 1851 census returns for Summer Lane).
The birth of a James Edgoose WADE was registered in 1856.

William WADE, a 36 year old shoemaker, died of phthisis at 17 Kent Street, St. Mary's, Leicester, on 12 November 1864. His wife's sister, Caroline BAKER of 62 Jarrom Street, Leicester, was present at the death and informed the registrar.
