Emily HEATH was born at the Union Workhouse, Poplar, on 15 August 1883, the illegitimate daughter of Elizabeth HEATH, a factory worker, of 11 Tooke Street, Poplar.

Arthur EDGOOSE married her mother Elizabeth HEATH on 21 March 1887.

Henry and Elizabeth PAGGETT were witnesses. Emily gave her age as 21.
