  GEORGE PETT 1845 or 1846- The birth registrations of only two GEORGE PETTs in the Holbeach area in 1845-1846 have been found, although neither in the Holbeach Registration District: September 1845 Spalding XIV 526 December 1845 Wisbech XIV 153 There were two possible GEORGE PETTs in the 1851 census, both born circa 1846, one in Pinchbeck and one in Long Sutton. Pinchbeck is in Spalding Registration District, but Long Sutton is not in Wisbech Registration District. From the 1881 census of Victoria Street, Stapleford, Nottinghamshire: *George PETT, head, married, aged 35, master joiner, employing 2 men 1 boy, born at Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire; Jane PETT, wife, married, aged 30, born at Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire; William RUMPH, nephewm unmarried, born at Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire.
