Herbert Wilbur EDGOOSE was born at Seskinore, Burk Road, South Camberwell, Victoria, Australia, on 3 May 1928, son of Herbert Harry and Ethellyn Elizabeth EDGOOSE.
Herbert Harry EDGOOSE had married Ethellyn Elizabeth LE LIEVRE on 28 April 1920.
He worked as a journalist on the Melbourne Age newspaper.
