  FRANCES (FANNY) ELIZABETH MADGWICK 1874- The birth of Fanny (sic) Elizabeth MADGWICK was registered in 1874. She was the daughter of James and Annie MADGWICK of Haslemere, Surrey. (GRO March Q 1874 Hambledon 2a 133) Walter Ernest PINKNEY married Frances Elizabeth MADGWICK in 1893. (GRO June Q 1893 Hambledon 2a 269) NOTES & QUERIES: No trace of her has been found since the death of her second son in 1897. She does not appear in the 1901 or 1911 census of England & Wales. Her husband Walter Ernest PINKNEY had a housekeeper in 1911 so perhaps the separation was permanent.
