"This is the last Will and Testament or Testamentary Appointment of me Mary Ann BATTERHAM the wife of Joseph BATTERHAM of West Walton in the County of Norfolk Farmer In pursuance and exercise of the power or authority given to me in this behalf in and by a Surrender passed by me and my said husband in the Manor of West Walton formerly the Dukes since Lord COLERANEs on the part of West Walton to the use of my Will and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf I do hereby declare direct and appoint and also devise and give all the real and personal estate to which I shall be entitled at my decease unto my daughter Frances BATTERHAM absolutely but as to estates vested in me upon trust or by way of Mortgage subject to the equities affecting the same respectively And I appoint my said daughter sole Executrix of this my Will or Testamentary appointment And I do revoke all former and other Wills or Testamentary appointments.
In witness wherof I the said Mary Ann BATTERHAM the testatrix have hereunto set my hand this seventh day of October One thousand eight hundred and ninety two.
