BENJAMIN BATTERHAM 1822-1850
Benjamin BATTERHAM was baptised at Walsoken on 31 March 1822. He married Mary Ann AULDAY in 1845 (GRO June Q. 1845 Wisbech 14 225) and died in Cass Township, DuPage County, Illinois, USA, in 1850. His wife Mary Ann AULDAY was born in Cambridgeshire in 1814 or 1815 and died in DuPage County in about 1853.

He and his wife, together with brother Jesse E. OLDFIELD, Benjamin BATTERHAM and his wife, and a Mr. and Mrs. ATWOOD, arrived in New York on the ss Victoria on 28 May 1845.
