Vera Dorrity (sic) TURNER married Hector Allan PEACOCK at Farnborough Parish Church, Hampshire, on 18 April 1927. She was described as a 22 year old spinster of Cambridge House, N. Farnborough, and daughter of Arthur TURNER, a deceased ironmonger. Hector Allan PEACOCK was a 27 year old bachelor, a grocer, of 1 Reading Road, S. Farnborough, and son of James PEACOCK, a sanitary presser. Witnesses were Ethelbert Arthur Frank BROWNE and Edith Carol TURNER.

The death of a Hector Allan PEACOCK aged 30 was registered in 1931.
      (GRO June Q 1931 Eastleigh 02C 102)
No proof that this is the correct entry, but the Henry A. PEACOCK whose death was registered at Ashbourne in 1934 seems likely to have been the Henry Abraham PEACOCK who married there. No other possible entry in England & Wales up to the end of 2005.
