The marriage broke up during the Second World War. His estranged wife had three children in 1946, 1948 and 1955. Hilda BURTON said (February 1968) that they had different fathers.
In 1968 he lived at Church End, Frampton, Lincolnshire. His sister Hilda BURTON looked after him, visiting every day.
The death of Frank Woods EDGOOSE was registered in 1979. He was described as a Land Worker (Retired), of Skirbeck Court, Boston and died on 17 October 1979. The informant on 18 October 1979 was his sister Hilda BURTON formerly EDGOOSE (1906-1992) of 12 Ash Drive, Kirton, Boston, Lincolnshire. "THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Frank Woods EDGOOSE of Church End Frampton in the County of Lincoln Retired Agricultural Worker
1. I HEREBY REVOKE all former Wills and other testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will and testament
2. I APPOINT Thomas Joseph POVEY MBE of 32 Pilgrim Road Boston in the said County of Lincoln Solicitors Clerk to be the Executor and Trustee of this my Will
3. I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all my property of every description both real and personal subject to the payment thereout of my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts unto my sister Hilda BURTON of Lenton Way Frampton aforesaid for her own use and benefit absolutely
