NOTES & QUERIES:
FreeBMD gives her age as 60. This cannot be correct as she was supposedly born in 1820, was aged 40 at the time of the 1861 census and aged 60 at the time of the 1881 census.
Although the entry on FreeBMD is in heavy type (and therefore confirmed as a correct transcription of the entry in the GRO index) Nick Gribble and Michael James Edgoose disagree. In our opinion 60 has been transcribed incorrectly for 65. The second digit is narrower than that of the 0 in nearby entries and is more akin to the 5 in the entry 7 lines above.
