      Laura Wallace wrote: The SEDLEYs were an aristocratic family, but I have not been able to place Frederica in the peerages (books) of the time. The marriage was never mentioned in any of Sidney's biographies or obituaries and I wonder if perhaps her early death, or even worse (at that time), a divorce (which would have ruined his career), led him to decide to emigrate."
