A Sophia, daughter of Theophilus and Frances SIMPSON of Spalding, Lincolnshire, was baptised there on 27 November 1811. The Parish Register records that she was born on 27 November 1810, although the date appearsto have been altered from 1811.

Sophia SIMPSON of Scothorne on 16 December 1874 aged 68.
Sophia SIMPSON of Stamford on 24 May 1866 aged 50.
