James PASHMORE, the illegitimate son of Jane HOUGHTON of Heckington, Lincolnshire, single woman, and the reputed father James PASHMORE of Pinchbeck, yeoman, was baptised at Heckington, Lincolnshire, on 23 December 1827. According to Linda Sokalofsky he was born at Heckington on 17 December 1827.
