On 1 August 1855 an inquest was held at the Red Lion, Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire (publican Thomas SILVESTER), on the body of 72 year old Ann PLOWRIGHT, widow of Thomas PLOWRIGHT, who had died earlier that day. Verdict: natural causes. Witnesses were Elizabeth PARKER, Henry ASKEW, and surgeon Thomas STILES.
