"In the name of God Amen the six and Twenteth day of November 1644 I Thomas Richardson of Pinchbecke in the County of Lincoln husbandman beinge sick in body but sound in minde & of a good remembrance (God be therefore praysed) doe ordeyne and make this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge first I bequeath my my soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker and his sonne Jesus Christ my saviour and Redeemer by whose death I trust to be saved and my body to be buryed in the Churchyard of Pinchbecke afores[ai]d
First I give to my son John RICHARDSON my dwellinge house and two acres of freehold lyinge under the same to him and to his heires for ever
It[e]m I give to my said sonne John a Copyhold house w[i]th the p[ur]tenn[a]nces in Spaldinge in the tenure of SPAINE and I Surrender the same into the hands of Richard BALYE one of the ten[a]nts of the Mannor according to the Custome, to the use of this my will
It[e]m I give to my said sonne John the house and one acre and an halfe of land and pasture in the tenure of Thomas SMYTH dureinge the tearme of my Lease
It[e] I give unto Elizabeth my daughter Twelve shillings to be paid yearly or once ev[er]y yeare duringe the tearme of Tenn yeares next after my decease out of my Lease lyinge in wid COLBYE's yard
It[e]m I give to my said daughter Elizabeth three keyne one blacke, one Red sarnd [?] & a calfe, one other browne w[i]th a bruckled [?] face & one blacke R...d [?] Heifer
It[e]m I give to the said Elizabeth the best Bedd w[i]th all the Beddinge and furniture as it now standeth in the parlor the best fetherbed in the Chamber
It[e]m I give to my said daughter Elizabeth Two paire of Flaxen sheets and Two paire of wearinge of wearinge sheets and one paire black seamd sheets Five white Curtaines Foure of the best pillow beares halfe a dozen of the Table Napkins Two bearnd [?] Clothes of the best
It[e]m I give to my said daughter Elizabeth the Litle Table and one great chist in the Hall the ioynd Chest in the Parlor and one litle Box upon the same
It[e]m I give to my said daughter Elizabeth the best brasse Pann anf foure puter platters And halfe of all the wooden vessell whatsoev[er]
It[e]m I give to my said daughter Elizabeth two litle winter Cockes of hay standing in the further end of the ground under my house
It[e]m I give unto my daughter Mary Tenn poundes of lawfull English money to be paid unto her when she shall attaine to the age of one and twenty yeares And my will is that my sonne John shall bringe up and mayntaine my said daughter Mary w[i]th meate drinke and apparrell meete for her and nurture dureinge and untill she shall accomplish thage of Eighteene yeares Further I will that if my said daughter Mary departe this naturall life before she attaine to the full age of one and Twenty yeares without lawfull Issue of her body then my daughter Elizabeth shall have the said Tenn poundes before given to her at the same time she was to receive it if she had lived
Also I make supervisor of this my last will Willm HOULDINGE to whome I give two shillings and six pence
All the rest of my goods and Chattells moveable and unmouveable unbequeathed I give them to my sonne John who I make Executor of this my last wll and Testament to [illegible] and pay my debts and legaces and bringe my body honestly to the ground
