      THE DEATH took place on Tuesday of Mrs. E. HAWES, (72) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. EDGOOSE, Middlegate, with whom she had resided for the past ten years. Formerly she resided at Boston.

      The funeral took place at Boston on Thursday.
      The mourners were Mrs. W. EDGOOSE and Mr. R. H. HAWES (daughter and son);
      Mr. J. B. HAWES and Mrs. R. H. HAWES (son and daughter-in-law); Mrs. J. B. HAWES (daughter-in-law);
