      "In the Name of god Amen : the twenty sixt day of Aprill 1639 : I Thomas BEALE of Pinchbeck in the County of Lincoln Carpenter being Sick in body but of p(er)fitt Remembranc [sic] & fearing to be taken unprovided do make and ordaine this to be my Last Will & teastament
      in man(n)er & forme Following:
      first I bequeath my soule into the hands of all mighty god my maker, trustinge to be saved by the death and Passion of Jesus Christe my redeemer, & my body to be buried in the Parrish Churchyard of Pinchbeck;
      Item I give to Frances my wife all my goods and Chattels w(hi)ch by the mercy of god I now holde and injoy : and I make her Executor of this my will she to take my debts & to pay my debts & to brynge my body in seemely man(n)or to the ground and I make Edward EARLE gen(tleman) Supravisor & I give him for his paines xij
