      NOTES & QUERIES:
NB There is no proof that this census entry refers to Elizabeth, daughter of Joseph MOULES and Elizabeth née CARR, but she could be the sister of Thomas MOULES. Her age, if it was rounded down as was usual in the 1841 census, would be about right.

An Elizabeth MOULES, daughter of William and Mary MOULES, was baptised at Terrington St. John, Norfolk, on 17 December 1820. Was she the 20 year old Elizabeth MOULES living at West Walton with Thomas and Sarah MOULES at the time of the 1841 census? Is she the 35 year old unmarried Elizabeth MOULES who married William MELTON at Terrington St. John, Norfolk, in 1856?
