A letter from Geoffrey PEARSE of Dunrobin, Church Road, West Walton, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, dated 23 February 1969:
"Dear Mr. Edgoose
I had learned from Mrs. C. J. Edgoose that you were collecting information about the Edgoose family but I'm afraid I have very little to help you.
However you may find the enclosed photographs of my Mother and Grandmother of some use - also a copy Certificate of marriage of my Grandfather and Grandmother.
My Grandfather was born on August 1st 1854 and Died on April 2nd. 1928. He was laid to rest in West Walton Cemetary (sic).
My Grandmother was Born on April 10th 1855 and Died on Februay 5th 1944. She was laid to rest in the Borough Cemetary (sic) at Wisbech.
My Mother Edith Edgoose was Born on December 30th 1886 and Died on August 6th 1966.
You may also find of interest the enclosed memoriam card for Patience Edgoose although I cannot tell you the connection to the family.
