  JOHN ETGOES 15??-15?? "Easter 1559 Westminster John ETGOES of Wolferton, Norfolk (Translated from the original Latin) "Pleas at Westminster before James DIER knight and his fellows, justices of the lady queen de Banco, for Easter term in the 1st year of the reign of lady Elizabeth by the grace of God queen of England, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, &c. Norfolk James RAWLYN alias NYTTYNGALE farmer of Geoffrey COBBE esquire appeared by his attorney for a fourth day against John ETGOES of Wolferton in the county aforesaid husbondman, in a plea wherefore by force of arms he broke into the free warren oof t the said James at Sandryngham, and hunted therein without his licence or permission, and took and carried off hares, rabbits, pheasants and partridges to the value of £10 from the warren aforesaid; and (inflicted) other enormities (upon him) &cc. to grave damage &c. and against the peace &c. And (the defendant) has not come; and, as before, it had been ordered the sheriff to take him &c. And the sheriff now reports that he is not found &c.
