WHO: James EDGOOSE was a 31 year old bachelor from Walsoken, Norfolk, and son of John EDGOOSE (1802-1841), cattle dealer, and his wife Mary EDGOOSE formerly HOLBORN (1803-1886). Martha Ellen TAYLOR, spinster, was the daughter of John TAYLOR (1799-1871), widower, a mariner from Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire, and his second wife Mary Eleanor TAYLOR (1810/1811-1875) formerly SKINNER, a spinster from Sutton Bridge.
WHAT: James EDGOOSE and John TAYLOR may well have been fellow seamen.
WHEN: 17 September 1868.
WHERE: Walsoken Parish Church, Norfolk.
WITNESSES: John William THOMPSON (1847-1926) and Elizabeth EDGOOSE (1842-1911).
