Miss Ciss HARLEY (1889-1985) was a book-keeper in Coventry before moving to the RAE at Farnborough in 1914 and then to Mr. W. L. EDGOOSE's premises in Church Lane East, Aldershot, Hampshire, circa 1917.

A Fitted Handbag and an autograph book signed by most if not all W. L. EDGOOSE's employees was presented to her when she left to go home on 1 February 1918.
A list of 59 employees has been made. When the 1921 census is released we may be able reconcile their names with their job within the firm.
A photograph of the employees exists which is thought to date from 1915-1916
