Elizabeth HERRING married Sidney James EDGOOSE at Stepney Catholic Church, Middlesex, on 19 December 1967. She was described as a 57 year old spinster of 70 Bewley House, Stepney E1, a tailoress, and daughter of James Patrick HERRING deceased, a car man. Witnesses were B. EDGOOSE and S. HERRING.

Elizabeth EDGOOSE died on 9 February 1993 at home, Ernest Fryer House, Fern Grove, Bletchley, Milton Keynes. She was described as the Widow of Sidney James EDGOOSE Council Gardener (retired) of the same address.

According to Billion Graves Index she died on 9 February 1993 and was buried in Bletchley (Whalley Drive) Cemetery with Sydney James EDGOOSE. There is an indistinct photograph of the gravestone online. The informant on 10 February 1993 was her nephew Alfred REGAN of 99 Westminster Drive, Bletchley, Milton Keynes. Cause of death was I(a) Broncopneumonia I(b) Congestive Heart Failure and II Senile Dementia.


NOTES & QUERIES:
Alfred REGAN stated that he was a nephew of Elizabeth EDGOOSE formerly HERRING (1910-1993). Elizabeth EDGOOSE had a sister Emma HERRING who married a Denis REGAN in 1951.
Nevertheless, no connection to an Alfred REGAN has been found.
