EDGOOSE, John (1834-1839)
John EDGOOSE was born in 1834, son of Joel and Mary EDGOOSE.
John EDGOOSE of Croft, son of Joel EDGOOSE, excavator, and Mary JONES, was baptised at St. Hilda's, Hartlepool, Co. Durham, on 18 February 1835.

John EDGOOSE, son of Joel EDGOOSE, railway labourer, died at Gilesgate Moor in the parish of St. Giles on 2 December 1839 at the age of 5, two days before Joel and Mary's sons John R. EDGOOSE and James EDGOOSE were baptised in the same church.
Cause of Death:
Small Pox.
The informant on 5 December 1839 was Mary EDGOOSE of Gilesgate Moor, present at the death, who made her mark.
